British brand Penhaligon's is no ordinary parfumier, and Monsieur Beauregard is no ordinary fragrance. Released in 2017, it's part of the house's 'Portraits' collection; an olfactory peek behind the curtain at British aristocracy. However, it's French raucousness that inspires this fellow - the vibrancy of pink pepper, lemon and orris, the rich base notes of sandalwood and patchouli and a mischievous, rakish bottle in the shape of a cockerel, making it utterly unforgettable.

Top notes: Lemon and Pink Pepper

Middle notes: Orris Root, Benzoin and Cinnamon

Base notes: Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Patchouli
